Photo Retoucher 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Atlanta, GA 30324 We are looking for an experienced Photo Retoucher to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia, on a long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for a creative individual with a keen eye for detail and mastery in enhancing visual content to meet high-quality standards. As part of the manufacturing industry, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional product imagery for various platforms, including e-commerce, print, and social media.
Responsibilities:
Apply advanced photo retouching techniques to improve image quality for diverse media platforms, such as e-commerce, print, and social channels. Perform high-end editing on product and lifestyle photography, ensuring blemishes and distractions are removed while enhancing colors, tones, and contrast. Utilize compositing skills to seamlessly merge multiple images into cohesive visuals. Conduct color correction and grading to achieve consistent aesthetics that align with brand guidelines. Collaborate with creative team members to understand project requirements and deliver retouched images that meet expectations. Maintain meticulous attention to detail during proofing and quality control processes to ensure error-free results. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in image editing software, including Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Manage files efficiently, organizing and naming them according to established conventions. Troubleshoot technical challenges related to digital imaging and provide solutions promptly. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product photo retouching, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing before-and-after examples. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom, with a solid grasp of color theory, compositing, and image manipulation. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics, including lighting and composition. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. Strong communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and address feedback constructively. Proven ability to thrive under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced production environment. Experience in digital photography and familiarity with various file formats and resolution requirements. Knowledge of file management practices, ensuring organized and accessible native files.
