We primarily work with matchmakers and dating coaches who send their clients to us. When assigned a photo shoot, there is usually a 2-3 week grace period before the shoot, while we work with the clients on their outfits before coming to you. LookBetterOnline.com is looking for professional portrait photographers in and around Alpharetta, who have a keen eye for natural, lifestyle images and the people skills to match. These are occasional, flexible photo sessions where we bring clients to you—allowing you to focus on what you do best: capturing people at their most confident and approachable. What Makes This Role Different? Unlike milestone events like graduations, engagements, or weddings—where joy is already built in—our clients are taking photos to create hope for their dating future. This can be an emotional experience, and we need photographers who are not only skilled behind the camera but also empathetic, patient, and able to create a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ At least five years of experience photographing real portrait clients (not just hobby work or studio sessions). ✅ A strong portfolio of natural, on-location portraits—we do not use studio backdrops or strobes. ✅ Experience using an on-camera speedlight with a diffuser to enhance natural lighting is essential. ✅ We prefer a portrait lens such as an 85mm. ✅ Proven ability to photograph adults aged 30-70 in a way that is inviting, natural, and approachable. ✅ Experience directing clients for a mix of headshots, 3/4 body, and full-length images. We use open body language poses. ✅ Strong interpersonal skills to help clients feel comfortable in front of the camera. ✅ Ability to shoot in RAW and deliver 20-25 top images per outfit within two days (no editing required). ✅ Photographers with senior portrait experience tend to understand the mix of poses we need—but note that we cannot use high school senior portraits in our galleries. As our clients range from their late 20s to mid-70s, many of whom are professionals or individuals re-entering the dating world. We’ve found that photographers who have extensive experience working with adult clients—particularly those navigating life transitions like dating after divorce or the loss of a spouse—are best suited for this role. We’re looking for photographers who can connect with our clients, understand their concerns, and create a supportive, relaxed atmosphere. If you have a strong background in working with professional adults and making them feel confident in front of the camera, we’d love to see your portfolio.
