Our studio is dedicated to being a trailblazer in technology and customer service while still creating the traditional portraiture that stands the test of time.

Description of role:

We’re looking for someone to step into a pivotal part-time role within our team of photographers. Successful candidates will have great attitudes and love working with children. Photography and Adobe Photoshop experience is required. We will provide additional training that is required to make you successful within our craft. Our photographers are required to photograph headshots, athletic portraits, senior portraits, cap and gown portraits, and many other portrait types. If you want variety in your workplace, our studio is for you. Portrait sessions are photographed both internally in our studio along with on-site sessions. Some weekend and evening work is required.

Tasks:

Provide a second-to-none portrait experience on each assignment to our customers. Editing portraits (Adobe) or processing jobs when not on the camera. Prepare for upcoming portrait sessions both in-studio and in the field. Be a team player when in the field, assisting fellow photographers and assistants. Represent Barberito Photographers Inc. in a professional manner. Drive to and from various locations within our territory. Field customer phone calls when not on location.

Skills and requirements:

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Creative Cloud is a plus. Prior experience in photography, preferably the volume photography industry. A digital or printed portfolio is required for the interview. Excellent communication skills Early mornings are regular Proficiency with PC/MAC platforms A professional appearance at all times. (Tattoos/piercings must be covered when in the field) Prompt on scheduled assignment times and uploading portraits. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must pass a background check.
