Job Description:

L.A. Creative Marketing is seeking a talented and reliable temporary Wedding Photographer and/or Videographer to capture the magic of a wedding taking place in May 2026 in the Harvey, Louisiana area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to contribute their creative expertise to a memorable event. You will be responsible for documenting all key moments of the wedding day, from preparation to the reception, delivering high-quality photos and/or videos that the couple will cherish for a lifetime.

Responsibilities:

Capture high-quality photographs and/or video footage of all aspects of the wedding day, including but not limited to: Bride and groom preparations Ceremony details and key moments Formal and informal portraits of the wedding party and guests Candid shots throughout the day Reception events (speeches, first dance, cake cutting, etc.) Ensure proper lighting, composition, and focus for all shots. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with the wedding party, guests, and venue staff. Work independently and efficiently to capture all required shots within the allocated timeframe. Adhere to the couple’s specific requests and any shot lists provided.

For Videographers:

Capture clear and stable video footage with good audio quality. Maintain and care for all photography and/or videography equipment. (Optional, depending on the scope of the contract): Perform initial post-processing of photos (e.g., color correction, basic editing) and/or video footage (e.g., basic trimming). Deliver the final edited photos and/or video footage in the agreed-upon format and timeframe.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Wedding Photographer and/or Videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Please include a link to your online portfolio or attach samples of your work. Excellent technical skills in photography and/or videography, including knowledge of camera operation, lighting techniques, and composition principles. Proficiency in using professional-grade photography and/or videography equipment.

For Videographers:

Familiarity with video editing software is a plus. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation to and from the wedding venue in the Harvey, Louisiana area. A professional and presentable appearance. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing situations on the wedding day.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with the specific wedding venue (this will be discussed with the selected candidate). Experience working with diverse couples and wedding traditions. Own professional-grade photography and/or videography equipment.
