L.A. Creative Marketing is seeking a skilled and creative Photographer to capture high-quality vertical still images for a portfolio of diverse clients. There are 11 clients total, but the selected candidate(s) will be told which clients they will be working with based on their portfolios. This is a fantastic opportunity for a freelance photographer to work on a consistent monthly basis, providing impactful visuals for various social media and website platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of composition, lighting, and visual storytelling, specifically within the vertical format.

Responsibilities:

Conduct on-location photoshoots for assigned clients on a monthly basis. Capture 30-40 high-quality, vertical still images per photoshoot, tailored to each client’s specific needs and brand. Understand and execute creative briefs that align with the client’s marketing objectives and target audience. Adapt photographic style and approach to suit various business industries and product/service offerings (e.g., food, tours, services, etc.). Ensure proper lighting, focus, and composition to create visually appealing and engaging vertical images optimized for social media and websites. Maintain open and professional communication with our team regarding scheduling and project updates. Deliver final, edited images in a timely manner and in the agreed-upon digital format. Maintain and transport your own professional photography equipment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Photographer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in capturing high-quality still images, with a focus on vertical formats. Excellent understanding of photographic principles, including composition, lighting (natural and artificial), depth of field, and color theory. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to photoshoot schedules. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and follow client branding. Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse clients and their unique visual requirements. Reliable transportation to and from client photoshoot locations within the New Orleans, LA area and potentially surrounding areas (depending on the client). Professional and presentable demeanor. Proficiency in basic photo editing techniques (cropping, color correction, etc.) is a plus.

Compensation:

Compensation ranges from $200 to $800 per photoshoot, based on the specific client assignment, the complexity of the project, and the agreed-upon deliverables after discussion with the owner.
