JROB Media LLC is a media company specializing in creating and publishing video game, phone, and PC hardware reviews, unboxings, and other creative content. We are seeking a Video Game Inventory Manager to join our team to help keep our video game inventory organized, as we are constantly buying and selling video games, consoles, accessories, PCs, phones, and other tech. Position Overview:
As a Video Game Inventory Manager, you will have a unique position where you are working on testing, cleaning, listing, and shipping video games, consoles, accessories, phones, and PCs each day. This position will start as a part-time position at 10-20 hours per week. Ideally, you’d be able to work some hours each day of the week (Monday-Friday), as we have a 1 day handling time on our listings and need to ship items daily. This position has potential to move into a full-time position.
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal applicant has experience buying, testing, listing, selling, and assembling/disassembling video games, consoles, accessories, phones, and/or PCs on eBay, Shopify, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Whatnot, or Encore. While this is not required and we will teach you everything you need to know, this would be a bonus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Testing and cleaning video games, consoles, accessories, phones, and PCs. Creating and publishing listings on Shopify, eBay, Whatnot, and Encore. Assembling and disassembling video game consoles, phones, and PCs. Packing and shipping out orders that are placed through Shopify, eBay, Whatnot, and Encore. This also involves driving the packages to the post office.
Qualifications:
The ideal applicant has a passion for video games and tech, particularly hardware, and has experience buying, testing, listing, selling, and assembling/disassembling video games, consoles, accessories, phones, and/or PCs on eBay, Shopify, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Whatnot, or Encore. That being said, we will teach you everything you need to know in order to do this job. Below is a more detailed breakdown of qualifications we’d like to see: Passion for gaming and tech, particularly hardware (For example, do you know why so many Xbox 360s had the RROD? Have you ever replaced an NES 72 pin connector? Do you collect retro and modern games and/or consoles?) Experience cleaning video games, consoles, accessories, phones, and/or PCs. Experience assembling and disassembling video game consoles, phones, and/or PCs. Experience listing on Shopify, eBay, Whatnot, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace and/or Encore. Experience packaging and shipping items. Strong attention to detail, as well as good spelling and grammar (this is critical, as you will be creating online product listings). Ability to work independently, and collaboratively, to meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. You must be over 18, have a valid Driver’s License, and have a reliable vehicle, as you will be required to drive to the post office and/or UPS each day to drop off packages. You will be reimbursed mileage costs for trips to the post office and UPS.

Day shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Do you collect video games/consoles? If so, what is in your collection? Do you have any experience selling items on eBay, Amazon, Shopify, Whatnot, Encore, or Facebook Marketplace? If so, please describe your experience. What is your familiarity with video games, particularly video game hardware? Do you have knowledge of modern systems (PS5, Xbox Series X, etc.), as well as retro systems (NES, N64, Original Xbox, etc.)? If so, please describe your familiarity. While selling video games and consoles is our #1 priority, we also sell phones and PCs. Do you have any experience with Gaming PCs? Do you have experience with a variety of phones (modern iPhones and Androids, “retro” iPhones and Androids, non-smartphones, etc.)?
