Reports to the Public Outreach Director and serves as junior videographer/photographer and production assistant to senior videographer. Captures or assists with capturing video footage and photos, and recording audio; Edits assets to produce videos, radio and TV advertisements and digital photos; provides A/V assistance as needed; provides assistance with graphics projects as needed.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Agency Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of current photography, videography and graphic design equipment/software, trends, concepts and styles. Experience using complex digital studio and on-location/field equipment and procedures. Experience in program idea development, research, scripting, and storyboarding. Ability to communicate, problem solve, and balance multiple projects/tasks effectively. Ability to provide audio/visual technical support. Ability to provide graphic design support in Adobe Suite as needed.

Must be able to carry 40 lbs. of equipment. Working after hours or on weekends and traveling overnight may sometimes be necessary. Because DPH is a public health response agency, working to respond during a public health crisis while state offices may be closed may occasionally occur.
