Purpose of Position:

To manage the department and personnel in the successful completion of quality products as directed, following company policies, SOPs and Repair Station Manual.

Proficient in using a variety of hand tools, special tools, and GSE required to perform assigned maintenance tasks. Must be able to read and interpret SDS and Technical Data Sheets to safely mix paints in accordance with specifications. Must be able to apply common sense. Must be able to effectively read, write, speak and understand the English language Proficient in Microsoft Office Email, Word and Excel and the ability to learn other company specific software Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using fractions and decimals; compute percentages, ratios, rates and interpret graphs. Must be able to comply with OSHA requirements and standards to properly wear all applicable PPE as required Must be able to see within normal range of vision with or without corrective lenses Must be able to hear running machinery Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers repetitively Must have exceptional eye-hand coordination Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and more, with assistance occasionally Must regularly be able to reach overhead Must regularly be able to squat, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and stand Must be able to walk around regularly using steps occasionally Ability to provide verifications of US citizenship or permanent residency to satisfy

Experience and Education Requirements:

At least 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED required Five years’ supervisory experience working in a manufacturing environment is required. Five years’ supervisory experience working in an MRO environment is a plus. Must pass criminal background check, DOT pre-employment drug screen and comply with all applicable FAA required regulations. Position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with DOT and FAA regulations. Subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulations (14 CFR part 120 and 49 CFR part 40). A&P license or FAA Power Plant Rating required. In lieu of holding an A&P or P license, must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate by satisfying the requirements as called out in the FAR.

Work Conditions:

Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Noise is generally loud.
