We’re entering a new era of innovation and expansion—and we’re looking for an exceptional Operations Manager to help lead the way. About the Role We’re seeking a proactive, detail-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the station—including technical execution, production workflow, broadcast compliance, and studio efficiency—while also serving as a daily Producer and Co-Host on our flagship award winning morning show. You will play a critical role in keeping our programming and branding consistent, high-quality, and engaging. Key Responsibilities Serve as Producer and co-host for the live morning show from 6-9 AM Monday through Friday. Assist in all technical aspects of on-air and digital production, including scheduling, live remotes, and podcast uploads. Keep necessary logs for FCC compliance and logging requirements. Manage and train interns, board operators, and part-time contractors if necessary. Oversee daily logs, automation systems, and studio equipment. Board operation of other Live Shows as needed. Coordinate station events, promotions, and live remotes in coordination with sales and promotions. Assist with creative production for commercials, promos, and overall station imaging as needed. Identify and implement operational improvements for efficiency and consistency. Maintain a culture of professionalism, precision, and excellence in all broadcasts. Participate in sales and revenue generation aspects of the business. Lead new initiatives and projects using new technology and AI tools. Qualifications Experience in broadcast operations, radio production, or related field is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided. Understanding of audio boards, and digital editing tools (e.g. Adobe Audition). On-air experience and/or confident mic presence and personality Organized and comfortable managing people, projects, and timelines. Knowledge of FCC guidelines and radio compliance standards. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively with station management and engineering. Passion for radio, local news, politics, and community engagement is a plus.
