The Production Manager oversees all aspects of the OnboardEntertainment. Onboard Entertainment includes Production Shows,Featured Entertainers, Singers, Dancers, also may include assistingthe Band Master with regards to Musicians and Bands, if required.?Event? describes any presentation including dance sets, Cabaretentertainment, Production Shows, Featured Artists, and VarietyShows. Events can take place anywhere on the ship. The entire shipis considered ?the stage.? Oversees the theatrical as well as theTechnical aspect of all onboard presentations, particularly theProduction Shows, and is responsible for maintaining the artistic standards and intentions of theProducer/s, Director/s, Designer/s, and Celebrity Cruises. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Directs, coaches, supports, supervises and evaluates (inconjunction with the Cruise Director) the job performance of theAudio-Visual (A-V) Manager.
• Coordinates all uses of the main showroom and other entertainmentlounges/areas ) in conjunction with the Cruise Director) to ensureconsistent presentation of all meetings, activities andentertainment.
• Responsible for the scheduling and monitoring all aspects ofOnboard Entertainment as follows: -Ensures the on-time start and successful delivery of eachevent.

-Monitors audio quality and volume. Works with the A-V Manager toremedy any problems. -Monitors lighting quality. Works with A-V Manager to remedy anyproblems. -Meets and greets Featured Entertainers at the gangway and takescare of all details to assure smooth embarkation and disembarkationprocess.

• Responsible for the operation or the delegation of the StageAutomation system.
• Keeps accurate and up-to-date documentation of all showparticulars. This includes running orders, cue lists, etc.(includes light, sound, and scenery movement cues). Assembles andmaintains the ?Prompt Book?, keeping accurate records of playingtext, cue sheets, stage plots and all stage-related documentationand correspondence.
• Attends all performances, call show cues if necessary, checkssign-in sheet, checks stage, starts show, and gives notes asnecessary.
