WHAT SETS YOU APART
Orlando City SC strives to provide the best possible gameday experience for our fans, as well as those attending events at Inter&Co Stadium hosted by external partners. This position will be responsible for designing and executing an entertaining in-stadium experience that brings our community together, creates lasting memories for our fans and fuels a passion for soccer across the region. Day-to-day responsibilities will include creating unique and entertaining gameday experiences, management of game production operations, working on cross-functional teams to drive business goals, and other related activities. We seek someone with a strong game production and live entertainment background, as well as superb interpersonal and organizational skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Responsible for the management of Orlando City’s game production experience, including script writing, video board and field board content/operation, audio, on-camera talent, gameday enhancements, on-field elements, IPTV content system, etc. Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of theme nights throughout the season including cross-departmental creation of theme night schedule, on-going theme night planning meetings, as well as content integration and implementation of theme night game production elements Work with internal departments (Brand Alliance, Ticketing, Member Services, etc.) in fulfilling marketing needs related to game production and stadium events Responsible for sourcing, managing, and executing all game entertainment elements such as anthem singers, pyrotechnics, light shows, live recognitions, etc. Assist Brand Alliance team with partnership strategy and direction related to in-stadium deliverables Be the main point of contact related to production and game presentation for assigned external events taking place at Inter&Co Stadium and/or Osceola County Stadium and manage all production and entertainment related needs as necessary Lead the business planning and budgeting process for the Orlando City game production & entertainment vertical, as well as ongoing management of game production budgets Management responsibility for all game production staff, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling and invoice processing Serve as the Club’s main point of contact for MLS-related game production requirements Work with the Venue Technology Engineer to manage in-house production equipment maintenance, repairs and replacement as needed Conduct industry research across MLS and other major pro sports to identify new technology, current trends and other key learnings that can be incorporated into our Clubs’ gameday experience Plan and execute production and entertainment elements for Club events and assist in an event management capacity as needed Collaborate with the Orlando Pride Game Production & Entertainment counterpart to streamline works flows and maximize economies of scale for both teams Assist in various roles for Orlando Pride match days and Orlando Pride events as needed Other duties as assigned

About Orlando City SC & Orlando Pride:
In November 2013, Orlando City Soccer Club was awarded a Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise, becoming the league’s 21st franchise. The team began play in March 2015, with 62,510 fans packing the then-Orlando Citrus Bowl for the Club’s MLS debut. The Lions have reached the postseason in five-consecutive seasons (2020-24), qualified for the Concacaf Champions Cup (formerly Concacaf Champions League) in both 2023 and 2024, and reached their first final in 2020 during the MLS is Back Tournament. In 2022, Orlando City won its first championship of its MLS era, lifting the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophy, which also marked the first championship by any professional team in the City Beautiful. Prior to its time in MLS, Orlando City boasted a decorated history in the United Soccer League, winning the league’s championship in both the 2011 and 2013 seasons. In October 2015, the Orlando Pride was announced as the 10th team in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), bringing professional women’s soccer to the state of Florida for the first time. The Pride feature a star-studded roster of domestic and international talent and, in 2024, brought the first professional major league title to the city of Orlando, with the Club winning the NWSL Championship. The season saw the Pride complete the double, winning both the Championship and the NWSL Shield as the best team in the regular season, capping off a historic campaign that set numerous league records. Former Orlando City defender Seb Hines serves as the team’s head coach, not only the first Black head coach in the league, but also the first to win both the Championship and the NWSL Shield, and the 2024 NWSL Coach of the Year.
