Tim Webber Events is looking for a reliable, hardworking and energetic Warehouse Manager to join our team. The candidate chosen for this position is responsible for the logistical implementation of special events from our warehouse and leading a team to execute general warehouse operations. It requires an organized, hands-on individual who be the lead in pulling, loading and unloading event needs onto vehicles before and after events. This candidate would need to embrace the challenge of leading a team to stay on top of a year around events calendar. The working environment is a shared workspace inside a warehouse and some work will require exposure to the outdoors and expected temperatures inside the warehouse. The Position would require a Valid Driver License and you would need to be able to lift at least 50lbs . Experience in Event and Hospitality is highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Loading and Unloading of all trucks for events Ensure all events are ready to depart on schedule with correct load and equipment needed Proper packing of all equipment and supplies Assist Operations in purchasing all products and services needed for the Warehouse Produce Weekly staffing schedule for warehouse staff with Operations Manager approval Maintain Vehicles•Scheduled Maintenance, Weekly Cleaning, Quarterly Waxing Perform Quick View and Full Inventory as requested by Operations Manager Maintaining warehouse in proper order and cleanliness Maintain Equipment and Décor in proper working condition Additional Responsibilities as directed by Operations and the
President Education and Experience:
4-year college degree preferred 3•5 years of warehouse experience preferred Event and Hospitality Experience preferred
Technical Experience:
Thorough knowledge of equipment handling and shipping Proper safety and sanitation habits in order to meet all regulatory compliance standards Strong inventory and cost controls Past experience developing schedules, job duties and timelines
