The Post Producer works with the post-production leadership team to breakdown project needs, as well as bid, produce and reconcile post-production projects.
Responsibilities
Ability to manage complex post-production budgets and communicate status of budget to studio leadership and client partners
Work with discipline leads to ensure we maintain top notch talent by providing regular feedback and assist with mentoring/developing talent.
Oversees communication and proper delivery of necessary elements between all creative partners (directors, composer, VFX, sound designer, etc.) for offline, color grading, final mixing, online, visual FX
Serve as a key point of contact for our clients and our post production staff
Maintain and expand freelance talent roster
Attend and document project briefings/kick offs
Ensures our clients’ needs are met and our post production talent has everything they need to perform their jobs.
A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
3+ years of experience in the post production field. Agency experience is a plus but not required.
Firm understanding of VFX, motion graphics and editorial workflows required
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
A working knowledge of basic post-production accounting procedures, specifically AICE forms and actualizing procedures. Farmers Wife experience is a plus!
A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
