VFX Producer –

Production Department Job Summary:

Swaybox Studios is seeking an experienced and proactive VFX Producer to oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality VFX across an ambitious and creatively demanding production. In collaboration with key department heads, you’ll guide the VFX pipeline from concept to final delivery-balancing budgets, schedules, resources, and creative vision. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as you’ll serve as the bridge between supervisors, artists, coordinators, and external vendors-ensuring expectations are aligned, progress is tracked, and all deliverables are met on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategize and implement VFX delivery plans in collaboration with Department Supervisors. Integrate delivery targets into the master production schedule and ensure milestones are met. Monitor and report on project bids vs. actuals, including budget tracking and resource forecasting. Manage all turnovers, assets, shots, editorial updates, marketing needs, change orders, and final deliveries. Serve as the key point of contact between Swaybox, clients, and vendors-maintaining clear and consistent communication. Lead and support the VFX and Animation teams, delegating tasks to Coordinators as needed. Schedule, attend, and organize reviews with the Director, Department Supervisor, and VFX Supervisor. Ensure internal tools (e.g., ShotGrid/Flow) and documentation are maintained and updated throughout production.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of VFX production experience, including work on high-end film, episodic, or hybrid performance-animation projects. Proficiency with ShotGrid / Flow , and standard production tracking systems. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.). Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, multi-disciplinary teams, and tight deadlines. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working across stylized, hybrid, or performance-driven VFX projects. Familiarity with creative and technical processes across departments (e.g., animation, editorial, compositing). Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for organization and efficiency. Comfortable collaborating with artists, technologists, and executives in a fast-paced environment.
