We’re seeking a freelance Video Producer to join the Katie’s Way team at our Kansas City, Missouri corporate office. In this role, you’ll ldeveloping, shooting, editing, and animating high-quality video content for social media, campaigns, podcasts, and internal initiatives. This role combines storytelling, technical skill, and visual strategy to support Katie’s Way. Your key essential functions will include: Video Production Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form videos, including: Social media reels/stories Patient/provider education explainers Company culture and recruitment clips Brand and testimonial videos Manage pre-production (storyboards, shot lists, location scouting) through final delivery Set up lighting, audio, and camera equipment for solo and small-crew shoots Capture B-roll and interviews on-site (clinic, office, studio) P odcast Production Set up, film, and record video podcasts (multi-cam if needed) Edit audio and video for episodes, create teaser clips for social Add intros/outros, lower thirds, captions, and visual elements Optimize for YouTube, Spotify, and podcast platforms Motion Graphics & Editing Design and animate lower-thirds, transitions, and intros. Add motion to infographics, logos, and callouts Ensure all videos align with brand tone, color, typography, and accessibility standards Qualified candidates will posses a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years work experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics — ideally in-house or agency. Proficiency in using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition (or Final Cut + equivalent), skill with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio gear are also a must.

Other qualifications include:

Strong sense of pacing, story, and tone — especially in healthcare or education settings Comfortable running a lean studio setup; self-starter mindset Organized, proactive, and adaptable to quick-turnaround needs Comfortable collaborating with marketing, creative, clinical, and compliance teams Eager to test new formats and trends in digital video Candidates with experience with animation tools (e.g., Lottie, Blender), podcast production platforms, or YouTube SEO are preferred.
