Ductwork EPA Certification Full Job Description Summary/Objective:
The Production Manager is expected to facilitate all aspects of residential facilities. They should maintain budget projections on each job, ensure quality standards through follow up and training in the field of mechanics and apprentices, and ensure projects are completed by timelines given and, in a manner, compliant with the company’s safety policies and procedures. Oversee, motivate, and support field installation teams, in addition to acting as a liaison between salesman and the installation teams.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years’ residential install experience Minimum of 2 years management experience and 5 years’ service experience Must pass drug and background screens Valid driver’s license and insurable through company insurance carrier EPA Certified Valid North Carolina contractors H-3 license Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing Ability to work with tools used in the job in a safe manner Basic computer skills and experience with
Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook Prioritization and Organizational skills; ability to multi-task and attention to detail Preferred Education and Experience Completion of HVAC training program Nate certifications Osha 10-hour certification
Essential Duties:
Learn and properly recite company Mission Vision and Core Value statements Always maintain professional appearance and attitude Attends training and participates in classes Assist with training ideas and classes Fully participates in company safety program including but not limited to attendance of all safety meetings and completing job safety analysis Utilize all safety precautions and always wear appropriate safety equipment Operate company vehicle following all Safety standards and applicable law Oversee and perform (when necessary) any HVAC replacement function to include design, installation, ductwork, gas piping systems and sizing Troubleshoot any issues with HVAC systems and help with warranty service calls Be familiar with equipment accessories and IAQ products Ensure all residential installation practices and GSG quality standards are met, and ensure codes are being followed Be able to trouble shoot and assist the installation team when needed wiring all controllers, thermostats, and electrical needed to operate HVAC equipment Supervise and train residential installation teams to include, problem solving, being a technical advisor, quality control, and first point of contact for conflict resolution Complete necessary paperwork to support invoices, estimates, orders, inventory, timecards and other information provided to customers, coworkers, coordinators and supervisors as needed Pick up parts, supplies and equipment from distributors in company vehicle as needed or required Check out materials on inventory listing from warehouse Obtain positive customer Google reviews Complete weekly job-site safety inspections Assist with scheduling jobs and verifying equipment staged for each job daily Be a liaison between sales team and field installation crews and technical advisor for sales team Complete previous daytime entry reviews in accounting and payroll system daily Complete team evaluations twice a year Call in install inspections for residential installs Provide Customer support and training as needed. Clearly communicates with customers. Champions company maintenance program and other initiatives while interacting with customers Assist with picking up materials needed to complete each project

Work Environment:
Environment consists of extreme variations due to conditions, including but not limited to: heat, cold, wet, wind, sunlight, absence of light, insects, animals, mammals, reptiles and other conditions deemed by worksite.
Physical Demands:
Reaching, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, crawling, squatting. Holding, carrying objects and lifting including heavy objects such as equipment up to 50 pounds individually and 300 pounds as a team.
