We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor & Inventory Manager (hybrid role) to oversee the assembly of our sensor stacks, streamline inventory management, and improve operational efficiency using MRPeasy ERP. We produce real-time sensor monitoring solutions for craft brewers, yeast manufacturers, cideries, seltzer producers, and other beverage makers. Our innovative technology helps customers optimize their fermentation and production processes. Role Overview This role combines production supervision with inventory management.
You will be responsible for:
Building & assembling sensor stacks with precision and quality Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock records in MRPeasy ERP Maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) for sensor production and keeping MRPeasy up to date with the latest revisions Tracking and analyzing errors to improve processes and product quality Designing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production and inventory workflows Ordering raw materials and components, ensuring just-in-time inventory without shortages Optimizing ERP workflows to improve tracking, reporting, and efficiency Developing, communicating, and delivering on production forecasts based on sales forecasts in conjunction with the production team, then managing order placement, subassembly build, and production to meet that forecast
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Quality Control Supervise and actively participate in sensor pack assembly and final testing Train and manage production team members as needed Develop and drive staffing plans aligned with batch production schedules Develop quality control measures to ensure consistent product performance Track production errors and implement continuous improvement strategies Inventory & ERP Management Oversee all inventory activities, including receiving, recording, storing, and issuing materials Maintain data integrity through accurate inventory levels in MRPeasy ERP Improve BOMs and production workflows for better efficiency and cost control Analyze inventory trends and prevent shortages or overstock situations Train staff on MRP operations to keep current and accurate all inventory, production status, received materials, product returns, etc. Process Improvement & SOP Development Document and refine SOPs for production and inventory management Work closely with engineering and operations teams to optimize processes and products Identify and implement automation opportunities for tracking and reporting Maintain a pareto chart of errors to focus future development on the most meaningful opportunities for improvement Qualifications 5+ years of experience in production supervision, inventory management, or manufacturing operations. Experience in multiple areas at a supervisory level is preferred. Hands-on experience with hardware assembly or electronic products is a plus Proficiency in MRPeasy or similar Saas ERP systems (MRP/Inventory/Production). Strong understanding of BOMs, production planning, and inventory control at a small, dynamic company level – able to establish these where they do not exist Experience in process improvement and quality control Ability to work in a startup environment—adaptable, resourceful, and self-driven
