FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Labor Management Responsibilities Develop and implement labor cost management strategies to optimize labor utilization and minimize labor costs. Monitor labor costs and identify areas for improvement. Critical KPI’s Training Performance Management Develop labor budgets and forecast labor requirements based on production schedules. Analyze labor utilization data and implement changes to improve productivity and efficiency. Develop and implement labor training programs to improve the skills of production staff and increase overall efficiency. Manage the labor component of the production cost model to ensure accurate tracking of labor costs and the identification of opportunities for cost savings. Production Management Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies for increasing productivity, reducing costs, and improving quality in the production process. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production line, ensuring that targets are met and deadlines are achieved. Lean Manufacturing techniques and tools. Daily Management System Leadership Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes accordingly. Manage the production controllers and operators including hiring, training, and evaluating staff, and ensuring that employees are working in compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure the timely delivery of products. Monitor inventory levels to ensure that the production line has adequate supplies. Ensure that the production line is compliant with regulatory requirements and quality standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience in a technical production management role, with a focus on labor management. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies and implementation. Knowledge of medical device industry regulations, including ISO 13485 and FDA QSR. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office, production management, and ERP software. Experience with NPI processes Experienced with low-value, high complexity environments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be physically able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to walk up and down stairs repeatedly and walk extended distances as needed. As well as the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
