06/25/2025 The production manager is the center of information for everyone involved in the project.
His/her responsibilities include:
- Coordinating communications among cast, crew, designers, directors and parents.
- Recruiting and supervising all house and backstage volunteers and developing volunteer schedules for rehearsals and production week,
- Developing the marketing and advertising strategy for the production, including soliciting ad placement for the production’s program, coordinating program design and publishing,
- Supervising ticketing format; supervising reservations and coordinates sales with ticketing service,
- Coordinating with custodial staff for equipment set-up for rehearsals and performances,
- Coordinating preview performances,
- Supervising ticket and concessions sales during performances and taking custody of proceeds and arrange for their security.
