The Role As our Performance Creative Strategist – Paid Social, you’ll be the force behind Cometeer’s paid social creative—from ideation to execution. You’ll craft thumb-stopping, performance-driven creative that lives across Meta, TikTok, and other social platforms. You’ll pair relentless curiosity with a test-and-learn mindset to generate a constant stream of fresh, high-impact concepts that convert. You’ll work closely with a video editor and a network of creators to bring ideas to life scrappily and effectively, balancing speed, creativity, and efficiency. Your success will be measured not by likes or shares, but by performance metrics like CAC, ROAS, and new customer acquisition. What you’ll do: Develop and own the creative strategy for Meta and other paid social platforms with a focus on new customer acquisitionGenerate a high volume of creative concepts, hooks, and storyboards designed to test performance hypothesesWrite ad copy, scripts, and on-screen text that connects with culture and converts cold audiencesPartner closely with our video editor to bring scrappy, social-native video concepts to lifeStay on the cutting edge of social ad trends, meme formats, and viral content—turning insights into winning creativeBuild and manage a pipeline of UGC creators and content collaboratorsAnalyze performance data to identify top-performing creatives and iterate based on learningsCollaborate cross-functionally with Growth, Brand, and Customer Experience teams What we’re looking for: 3+ years in a performance creative role, ideally at a consumer brand or agencyDeep experience building and optimizing creative for Meta Ads ManagerStrong understanding of paid social KPIs and performance levers (CAC, ROAS, CTR, etc.)A scroll-stopping storyteller who can translate data into creative hypothesesObsessed with social trends, memes, and creator cultureComfortable shooting content on your iPhone and iterating fastSkilled in scripting, writing, and briefing video assetsStrong creative instincts and a deep understanding of what gets attention—and what convertsSelf-starter who thrives in fast-paced, scrappy environments A stand out candidate will have: Experience working with DTC, subscription-based, or food & beverage brandsHands-on experience with media buying and campaign management in Meta Ads ManagerDesign or motion graphics chopsExperience managing freelance creators or UGC production ?
