has the following available in New York, New York. Review content for new publisher submissions, provide editorial feedback to the engineering team, investigate issues related to Editorial and Publisher specs and content. Evaluate user concern escalations to implement the adherence & preservation of Apple News quality standards. Investigate issues related to Editorial and Publisher specs and content. Dig into technical and content aspects of individual articles and publishers to investigate any escalations and work cross-functionally to resolve them. Contribute to continuous improvement of editorial tools including improving CMS and internal processes, identifying new enhancements, exploring process updates, work towards simplifying current CMS to adhere to new features. Work collaboratively across teams to develop and optimize editorial features to serve an international audience. Help provide high caliber, actionable data insights for the Apple News. Provide editorial feedback to the Engineering team who, amongst other things, work on optimizing the News experience on Apple News. Prepare internal presentations and handle tasks involving getting approval for new feature, enhancement, cross-functional exploration, new CMS enhancement and share analytics insight directly related to editorial operations projects. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 – $188,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in English, Political Science, or related field plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience and/or education with the following:
Editorial newsroom setting experience, including experience pitching and editing content aimed at a large audience.
Writing editorial content, including optimizing headlines for a digital audience
Evaluating user concerns and partnering with editorial team on preservation of News quality standards
Investigating content and technical issues related to individual articles and publishers, and experience working at the intersection of tech and media
Supporting feature enhancements per roadmap, facilitating operations and leading meetings between Editorial and Engineering teams, including experience acting as liaison between cross-functional teams
Experience leading day-to-day progress of tasks, and leading multiple complex and cross-functional projects.
Using Keynote, Numbers and Excel.
Experience in digital publishing and Content Management Systems
Working with news and publishers in international markets, and collaborating with teams globally.
