un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Video Interview Series – Stories of Hope (Manhattan)  no pay We’re working on a project about overcoming grief. Showcasing everyday people and their insights on loss, life and overcoming an eternal rite of passage. Doctors, therapists, professors, tattoo artists, grief counselors, spiritual leaders, authors, photographers, portrait artists, sculptors, archeologists or anthropologists. Anyone with a unique life experience, or whose life has been touched by the passing of a loved one. We’re looking to explore all things death, as it informs so much in our lives. And to have people their interpretations on grief, processing, outlets, best practices, or whatever you may have found helpful in moving forward. We don’t talk about grief nearly enough as a society. We want to examine the things no one wants to talk about, to try to help people feel less alone. Anyone who’s used the passing of a loved one as fuel. Anyone who has reframed the loss or channeled into a higher purpose. Anyone who has derived meaning or changed their mindset, or changed how they view the world. We’re trying to tell authentic stories of struggle and triumph over adversity, with a focus on unity. We’re hoping to run the gamut of people, representing the totality of the human condition. We’re interested in portraying human stories of hope, transformation and growth, in service of something larger than ourselves. Reclaiming our spirit in the midst of this crisis in meaning and purpose. If you have experience in or with the above, and don’t mind sharing your story on camera, we’d love to hear from you.
