Production Manager B & E Sportswear 1005 Sussex Boulevard, Broomall, PA 19008 Job Description Overview Established custom apparel company looking for a new Production/Operations Manager to continue to lead the team. For 40 years, B&E Sportswear has been an important part of the community supplying custom t-shirts, hoodies, hats, promotional products, and many more items to schools, universities, small businesses, corporate clients and special events. Our team is ready to move to the next level with a Production/Operations Manager to lead the team and delivery of these goods. The Role & Requirements This role is to ensure our production order fulfillment operation runs efficiently and smoothly. You will be leading the production team while also working closely with the sales, purchasing, receiving and art departments. This is a detail-oriented and fast paced job that is people management driven to get orders out the door. We have many moving parts, due dates, pieces of an order, changes to orders and quality controls to standardize and make more efficient. Establish and maintain efficient screen printing and embroidery production schedules to complete orders on time Create and manage daily delivery schedule Manage and coach the production team to continually improve our processes Not afraid to get your hands dirty and step in when needed to setup/print/break down orders when needed Become an expert in the screen printing and order fulfillment process Manage supply levels for screen printing and embroidery production materials Communicate with the sales team on order details and changes that have an impact on customer due dates Document processes with video and written docs to ease the training of new hires Maintain good cleanliness and organization in the production areas Provide employee feedback, foster production team culture, and create development opportunities Coordinate employee reviews on a quarterly to bi-annual basis. Manage PTO, sick days and attendance for employees Produce daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to senior management as needed Schedule and supervise equipment maintenance and installations Able to lift boxes that weigh up to 40lbs Able to work in hot area in summer time as the dryer generates heat Superior decision-making, troubleshooting, negotiating, influencing, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to think quickly and use resources to find solutions 2yrs+ managing people Ability to take accurate Notes, document processes, keep production statistics and communicate effectively Ability to use Excel and technologically comfortable enough to quickly learn our the software used in our industry.
