Overview Oversee all aspects of the department’s production season as well as oversight of the budget, hiring of guest artists, and run the day-to-day operations of the theatre, dance and film production office. Duties and Responsibilities Run all production meetings, hire guest artists, write contracts, manage the box office staff and schedule, maintain and troubleshoot the ticketing system, oversee all advertising, playbill and poster creation, and all other duties related to the curation and maintenance of the production season events. (35%) Be present for all TDF production events that occur in the Angell Blackfriars Theatre and the Bowab Studio Theatre. Supervise the box office staff, assist ushers, and serve as the fire safety coordinator in the event of an emergency. (20%) Hold weekly production staff meetings with the full staff and bi-weekly check-ins with each staff member. Oversee each staff member’s local budget, and, when needed, oversee the hiring process to fill any open staff positions. Conduct annual performance reviews. Hire all student workers at the beginning of each academic year and approve all staff and student time sheets. (15%) Create all purchase orders for the production season including acquiring vendor numbers, submitting purchase orders, and creating and submitting vouchers for approval. Create and maintain the large and complex production budget for the department for each fiscal year. (15%) Meet with TDF faculty periodically to discuss the production season and keep the faculty apprised of the various issues that may come up. Meet bi-weekly with the department chair. (10%) Serve as the building manager for the Smith Center for the Arts. This entails approving all requests in 25Live for the Angell Blackfriars Theatre, Bowab Studio Theatre, and the Smith lobby. Create work orders for all building repairs that are necessary in these spaces and identify any potential capital expense projects. (5%)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in arts administration, theatre, or marketing from an accredited institution. One to three years’ working in a theatre production environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop. Intermediate experience with Canva. Intermediate experience with Ellucian Banner. Intermediate experience with ticketing software. Ability to multitask and work with a schedule. Effective verbal skills. Ability to collaborate with people across campus and within the community. Ability to delegate tasks to staff, students, and guest artists. Supplemental Information
