Job Description
The Associate Product Manager is responsible for assisting the Product Management team with product design, planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with operations, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Associate Product Manager will generally perform specific project-based activities and tasks to support the Product Management team.
ESSENTIAL
RESPONSIBILITIESThis is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. Projects/duties may be modified/changed/added/deleted as needed.
Assist with portfolio plans to maximize revenue, sales, and customer base in critical product lines.
Assist with the development of business case and portfolio plans for the next generation of advanced tactical products.
Assist with identifying issues from the field, and develop sources of competitive intelligence to facilitate product development.
Assist with tactical implementation of key market research programs, including: voice of customer analysis, market share measurements, and SWOT analysis.
Assist with development of materials to present the value proposition for individual markets, both domestic and international.
Develop and cultivate professional relationships with key product suppliers for the purpose of enhancing product promotion.
Assist with other aspects of ongoing product maintenance to support sustainability and efficiency in the product lifecycle.
Work closely with MARCOM and Sales to support their efforts in photoshoots, tradeshows, training sessions, etc.
Ensure product compliance with all relevant departments including Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and ContractingSupport Innovation Team with project initiatives and tasks, including but not limited to: product feasibility, manufacturability assessment, catalog integration, and market placementAssist in business process and procedure analysis with an emphasis on efficiency and optimization of processes for sustainability and scalability. This may involve re-writing or editing processes and proceduresAcquire product knowledge to become subject matter expert (SME) on applicable product linesOther duties as assigned.

Execute daily tasks related to product reports and assist with key market research programs, including customer analysis and market share measurements.
Contributes to portfolio plans to maximize revenue and assist in developing business cases for next-generation tactical products.
Analyze business processes for efficiency and support ongoing product maintenance to ensure sustainability throughout the product lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelors degree or related experience in Engineering, Business, Life Science or similar preferred.
Experience:
Two years of medical device portfolio management is preferred at the Associate Product Manager level.
Knowledge of product development within an acute or tactical care setting is preferred.
A proven track record in working with cross-functional teams and managing projects
