We’re a podcast production company with a reputation for industry excellence and attention to detail in production and execution. While we’re based in Knoxville, TN, we have a team that is remotely distributed across the globe. Our team enjoys all the trappings of remote work (dogs at our feet, cats on our keyboards, and kids screaming in our ears), and are focused on helping some of the world’s leading tech voices be heard in the world of podcasting. Currently, we are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic-minded Podcast Production Manager to lead our podcast production efforts. This role blends strategic content management, client relationships, and project oversight to ensure podcast excellence. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality podcasts, building strong client relationships, and keeping our internal teams organized and ahead of schedule. Attention to detail reminiscent of legends like Leslie Knope and Steve Jobs is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and track podcast projects in ClickUp and Coda, ensuring all project information remains accurate and up-to-date. Act as the primary point of contact with clients, managing and clearly communicating production timelines and expectations. Organize and maintain the daily show release schedule to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate the HumblePod production team’s workflow to consistently meet or exceed deadlines. Perform detailed quality assurance reviews of podcast audio and written episode content. Write and/or review strategic episode summaries and detailed show notes. Lead strategic marketing and SEO efforts to maximize podcast reach and effectiveness. Provide regular reporting and analytics on podcast performance, recommending strategic adjustments based on insights. Occasionally work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to accommodate client needs globally.
Required Qualifications:
College degree or at least three years of relevant professional experience. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Proven ability to proactively manage projects and solve problems independently. Strong organizational, project, and time management skills, including prioritization of multiple tasks and deadlines. Familiarity with project management software (ClickUp experience strongly preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Docs, Sheets, Slides). Comfortable working with cloud storage platforms like Google Drive & Dropbox.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience creating, hosting, or producing podcasts. Active involvement in ongoing podcast production or related projects. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Audition, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience working with tech startups or within fast-paced, dynamic teams.
