Job Description
Childcare Administrative / Proofreading Position The Nanny Smith Short Hills, NJ 07078 • Hybrid work Agency is seeking a Proofreading Childcare Administrator / General Assistant.

The position involves assisting with various aspects of the business, but the primary focus will be on recruiting, proofreading, data entry, and updating caregivers’ files via phone calls and emails. Within our small company, the position has the potential to grow. Training will be provided in all areas. Applicant must have computer skills and a fast but efficient turnaround time.
Schedule and location:
The two options are full-time OR part-time that moves into full-time. Typically, Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 5/6 pm Schedule will vary based on need (but must be willing to work outside of business hours). Position is a long-term hybrid of in-office and remote work depending on season and need, but is mostly remote. Candidate must be willing to travel to our Bedminster and Short Hills (NJ) offices, based on the owner’s discretion (a third location maybe occasionally need).
Ideal Candidate:
Has a college degree Must be a fast typist with an eye for detail (fast but efficient) Must be creative and energetic Must be able to work both independently and as a team Must have excellent customer service skills Proficient in proofreading/grammar skills as well as verbal and written communication skills Data entry background preferred Background in childcare/education preferred Must be comfortable and confident using computers, particularly Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Email and willing to learn more Marketing / sales background is a huge plus! (not required) Must be great problem solver Able to handle fast pace environment/situations Long-term Duties may include, but are not be limited to: General office/administrative work Proofreading /editing Data entry and updating Calling candidates for missing information Providing wonderful customer service Scheduling and organizing people needs/skill
Basic Sales Pay:
is $17 to $20+ per hour or $500 to $900+ a week , will depend on fit and experience. Signing bonus after 60 working days. Open to providing additional benefits after probationary period.
