Job Summary/Description:
WAFF needs an enterprising reporter who loves telling stories. We want reporters who want to turn into lead stories. The ideal candidate must cultivate sources. MMJ will have a specific coverage area. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: MMJ must be able to shoot, write, and edit enterprise stories. Able to work any shift as needed. Must be able to turn a digital story into daily stories. Engaged with social media. Solid knowledge of legal and ethical issues impacting journalism. Must react quickly to breaking news. Must be willing to live in the assigned coverage area.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field. Social media proficiency. Excellent time management skills.
