Community Publisher – Citronelle, AL (Multi-County Newspaper Group) Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Are you a natural storyteller and a confident salesperson? We’re looking for a Swiss Army knife-type Publisher to lead two key community newspapers—The Citronelle Call News and the Washington County News—while also playing a supporting role with three additional titles across Mobile, Washington, and Clarke counties. This is not your average publisher job. You’ll sell advertising, cover local sports and government meetings, write features, and help shape the editorial direction of your communities. From the sidelines to city hall, you’ll be the face of local news in North Mobile and Washington counties.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong writing and reporting skills A knack for connecting with local businesses and closing ad sales Solid news judgment and a passion for community journalism A self-starting attitude and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities We offer a strong compensation package, including salary and performance incentives, commensurate with experience.
