This individual must be motivated, love storytelling, and be prepared to deliver live reports, reporting to the News Director. Responsibilities include gathering information for newscasts, covering breaking news, weather, and sports, creating high-quality packages, collaborating with reporters, developing sources, and producing content across all platforms. The ideal candidate should have professional or educational experience in television news reporting, photography, and editing, possess strong writing and editing skills, be able to connect with viewers authentically, provide samples of reporting and photography, have experience developing local contacts, shooting and editing video, and be able to handle the stresses of time-sensitive newscast production. Related military experience will be considered, and in-person attendance is required.
