Responsibilities:
Design and produce planning documents, event layouts, renderings, and fabrication plans using Solidworks and Keyshot CAD softwareKnowledge of Fusion 360 is a plusAlongside a team of skilled craftsmen, fabricate, assemble, and install exhibit products using high-fidelity modelmaking, cabinetry, and/or woodworking techniquesDevelop detailed and accurate fabrication drawings, along with Bill of Materials (BOMs), to provide to in-house and vendor fabricatorsSupport event installations and teardowns, ensuring exhibits are safely transported, assembled and maintainedOperate and maintain workshop toolsFollow and enforce NASA and OSHA safety protocols throughout all aspects of the positionDevelop Job Hazard analyses to identify hazards and mitigation efforts related to those identified hazardsJob RequirementsBachelors degree or higher in Industrial Design or related fieldThree (3) years of related experienceProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Solidworks, and KeyshotHands-on experience or training in a workshop environmentAbility to lift heavy materials and operate machinery safelyWillingness to travel for exhibit installations and events, occasionally during off-business hours
