We work to build collections with our clients and approach each need with the utmost care and attention to detail. Work as part of the team with hands on art handling duties and coordinating shipping and logistics.

PERSONAL

: Enthusiastically and diplomatically works with the gallery team. Exhibits a friendly and approachable demeanor with clients and acts as a positive ambassador for the gallery. Offers respectful communication to all team members and clients. Available to work 5 days of the week, between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Gallery open Monday-Saturday during season and Tuesday – Saturday in the summer. During season, may select 1 day off during the week.

ART HANDLING

Handles, packs and installs artwork at private offices and residences, as well as in our galleries; professionally secures and transports artwork, all in accordance with museum standards. Assists gallery director with labeling artworks and preforming condition reports; expertly stores and tracks artwork in our gallery storage spaces and warehouses, in accordance with museum standards. Anticipates deliveries and installations and takes all necessary steps to streamline the incoming and outgoing processes. Keeps galleries and warehouses consistently clean and useable, bringing a proactive approach.

SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS

Work under the gallery director to receive and prepare shipping estimates for both inbound and outbound photographs Work with external shipping companies Coordinate local transport and occasional 3rd-party art handling, packing and crating services Inventories supplies and administers reuse/recycling policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Valid FL license and ability/comfortable driving a sprinter van. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and maintenance procedures. Outstanding communication and ability to take direction and ask for assistance, as needed, ensuring projects stay on schedule. Demonstrates concern for detail, accuracy and precise execution of work, all while being adaptable and willing to learn a new direction or skill. Works well independently and as a team; shifts, as directed, between warehouse, client and office settings, while communicating along the way. Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs individually and 75+lbs as a team.
