The North Carolina Football Club, owner and operator of twoaffiliated professional soccer teams: the North Carolina Courage(NWSL) and North Carolina FC (USL Championship), is seeking a FanExperience Manager to support the club, by providing a first-classfan experience at First Horizon Stadium and supporting Game DayExcellence department initiatives to help grow the fan base. TheFan Experience Manger will also work closely and collaborate withother departments across the organization.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-Responsible for Match Day planning and implementation to include
- Act as the main point of contact for all North Carolina Couragematch days and the supporting point of contact for all NorthCarolina FC match days
- Lead ideation during preseason themeplanning for both clubs, collaborating with Operations, Production,Sponsorship, and Leadership
- Lead the planning and management ofthe game day fan experience for both clubs, ensuring anunforgettable experience and atmosphere for all fans, third-partyvendors, and staff
- Comprehensively manage promotions, performers,features, stadium activations, and special match day events orceremonies. Ensure all activations and promotions are on theme andexecuted to a high standard
- Document and coordinate day of matchdetails, including run of show, mascot and game day stafftimelines, and PA/host scripts
- Collaborate with departments onmatch day and non-match day special events or ceremonies with anemphasis on elevating the fan experience
- Collaborate with theMarketing department on staffing for game days, including themascot and part-time staff. Ensure adequate coverage acrossclub-wide events
- Manage and mentor full-time and part-time staff,emphasizing employee development and establishment of industry bestpractices
- Standardize and develop business processes based onprior experiences and industry standards. Train full-time andpart-time staff on processes to ensure club-wide adoption and ahigh level of execution
- Lead the preparation of the stadium andstorage areas prior to all home matches
- Monitor industry trendsand ideate incorporation into the existing in-game presentation
- Maintain department databases, equipment, inventory, and storagefacilities
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’sdegree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or otherrelated fields, or equivalent applicable experiences
- 3+ years ofevent presentation, game operations, or live events experience
- Outgoing, creative self-starter that has strong leadership skills,while thriving in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal,project management, and event management skills
- Must be willingto work non-traditional hours that include weekends, nights andholidays
- Must be able to work at the North Carolina Football Clubheadquarters in Raleigh, NC

PREFERRED SKILLS
- Passion for women’s sports,storytelling, and fan culture
- Bilingual or multilingual skillsare a plus (Spanish preferred).
