SCHEDULE
Fridays 1:00-6:45 or 7:15, Saturdays and Sundays 9:30-4:15 or 11:00-6:45; availability throughout the week to provide coverage as fits the museum’s staffing needs; must have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability

AS A PLAYOLOGIST YOU WILL
… Explore and interact with indoor and outdoor exhibits alongside children and their caregivers in a high energy environment Maintain museum safety and cleanliness by resetting spaces and sanitizing toys and touch points throughout the day Open and close exhibit floor and outside exhibit areas Ensure that exhibit spaces are stocked before opening and throughout the day including but not limited to making copies for Draw Alive, restocking Makespace, replenishing missing items, making and filling bubble stations during warm months Run planetarium shows as scheduled by the manager on duty Host birthday parties with the highest level of customer service excellence Provide informational tours for new Muse volunteers of the museum floor, staff area, and going over their specific tasks and expectations during their scheduled volunteer shift Communicate with the Guest Experience Manager regarding exhibit issues, safety concerns, and items that are running low Maintain current knowledge of Muse programming and events in order to enhance visitor’s experience and answer questions effectively Facilitate Daily Discovery activity tables and other scheduled programming as needed Support the front desk as needed, as determined by Guest Experience leadership
THIS POSITION HAS THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS
