We are currently searching for Audio- Visual Operators – Sound tojoin our team. The AVTS is responsible for the operation andmaintenance of the ships entertainment sound and audio systems. TheAVTS is charged with programming and designing events as well asmaintaining the original sound designs that Celebrity Cruises haspurchased. The AVTS position is an extension of the AV team and isexpected to assist the daily ship operations of the entertainmentteam. In addition to other requirements, potential candidates must haveat least three years of experience in an audio-visual function inan upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, entertainment orrecreational industry (shipboard experience preferred) along withother requirements. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Required to maintain all entertainment audio equipment, showcontrol, and play back equipment on board the vessel.
• Required to maintain the integrity of the prescribed sounddesigns of the Celebrity Cruises produced events.
• Required to implement an original or prescribed design, programand to operate audio for additional events and guest artists.
• Responsible for daily operational checks on all audioequipment.
• Is responsible to adhere to the company’s policies and procedureson maintenance and use of all audio equipment.
• Is responsible for maintaining brand quality in all aspects ofaudio design and operation.
• Responsible for the smooth operation of all events in the theaterand ship wide as prescribed by the Cruise Director, ProductionManager, and AV Manager.
