Role:
Mass Virtual is currently seeking a talented Game Sound Designer I to join our team. We’re looking for a hard-working, passionate teammate who loves the idea of working together with a group of highly driven, award-winning professionals. (Demo reel must be submitted with application). What you’ll be doing: Identify opportunities and audio needs in all products across multiple multimedia formats Work independently on generating and implementing audio asset sets Test, debug, and QA all audio for products Manage all aspects of audio assets development Work with engineers to develop next-gen audio technologies Work within budgets for the given platforms Assist with managing recording sessions Ability to travel required for field recordings on data capture trips What you need to succeed: 0-2 years of Game Sound Design Experience Audio Editing and Processing Experience Field Recording Experience Experience with organizing documentation Experience with Adobe Audition, and other professional DAW’s Experience mixing in a variety of mediums, such as mobile and spatial audio Ability to perform work in accordance with prescribed deadlines, on time and high quality Strong problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to new technologies A passion for great audio Focused, motivated and effective on all tasks through completion Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written English language skills Must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) Great to
