Job Description
Summary:
Seeking an experienced Technical Writer to develop and manage technical documentation for Army IADS Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals using XML.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or master’s degree with 6+ years. Proficient in XML and Microsoft Office 365. Active DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one. Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Arbortext IsoDraw. Understanding of MIL-STD-2361, MIL-STD-40051-2, and
MIL-HDBK-1222.
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting DoD programs. S1000D and PTC Windchill experience. Integrated Logistics Support experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop technical documentation in XML using Arbortext Editor. Tag documents for IETM viewer or equivalent
ETM/IETP.
Interpret engineer drawings and navigate program software. Ensure compliance with military standards and guidelines. Collaborate on project documentation, deliverables, and training materials.
