We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer for a temporary contractor position in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves editing and refining documentation for system applications to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Responsibilities:
Edit and review documentation for grammar, style, and adherence to AP Style. Adapt content to align with organizational brand voice across various mediums. Collaborate with teams to meet project deadlines. Maintain organized records of documentation processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field. 3+ years of experience in technical writing or editing. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in AP Style and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong portfolio showcasing versatile writing across platforms. Ability to work independently and in a team. Experience writing for government entities (preferred).
