We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeablePsychiatrist to join our mental health team! This specialist willbe responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of mentalhealth conditions, providing high-quality care to patients acrossdifferent age groups, including children and adults. This role requires a strongunderstanding of psychiatric practices, including therapymodalities and medical documentation, to ensure comprehensivepatient care.

KeyResponsibilities:

Perform in-depth psychiatric assessments toidentify mental health disorders and inform diagnostic decisions.

Tailor treatment strategies for each patient, drawing from bothpharmacologic and psychotherapeutic approaches. Provide ongoingmedication management and monitor treatment outcomes to ensurepatient safety and progress. Keep detailed, accurate, andup-to-date clinical notes, maintaining full compliance with HIPAAand organizational policies. Partner with medical staff,therapists, and case managers to develop holistic care plans thataddress both mental and physical health needs. Engage in relevantprofessional development opportunities, including certifications,seminars, and post-residency fellowships, to stay at the forefrontof the field.

Skills You’ll Need:

Strong knowledge of psychiatryprinciples and practices. Proficiency in medical documentation andmaintaining accurate medical records. Experience working withindividuals who have developmental disabilities is preferred.

Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques is advantageous.

Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments effectively.

Understanding of pediatric psychiatry is a plus for thoseinterested in working with younger populations. Excellentcommunication skills, both verbal and written, for effectiveinteraction with patients and team members. Commitment to upholdingHIPAA standards in all aspects of patient care.
