The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to research, write, and edit technical documents that clearly communicate complex information to various audiences. This role requires proficiency in technical writing and an aptitude for using various software tools to create high-quality documentation.

Training experience Experience creating digital presentations Demonstrated success in writing for an IT developer/network/data audience required (as opposed to business audience) Technical writing for government IT audience preferred. Experience using MS Office products, PDF’s, Visio, Adobe Pro, GitHub, and Jira. Responsibilities Conduct thorough research to gather information on technical subjects and processes. Write, edit, and proofread user manuals, guides, and other technical documents. Utilize Visio and other software tools to create diagrams and flowcharts that enhance documentation clarity. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of content. Maintain consistency in style, tone, and terminology across all documentation. Review and revise existing documents based on feedback or updates in technology or processes. Ensure all technical documentation adheres to company standards and best practices. Experience Proven experience in technical writing or a related field is essential. Strong research skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise language. Proficiency in word processing software, including Microsoft Word or similar applications. Familiarity with editing tools and techniques to enhance document quality. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Experience using Visio for creating visual representations of processes is a plus.
