Job Description
As a Sr Estimator/Proposal Writer, you will play a crucial role in the proposal writing process. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to create compelling proposal content. In this role, you will impact the company by ensuring the clarity, conciseness, and tone of our proposal responses, as well as supporting the growth and profitability of the organization.

Professional Development Key Responsibilities:
+ Write and edit content for proposals, research papers, program reports, marketing materials, product/service descriptions, and other documents to support business development and project implementation. + Ensure consistent standards and voice throughout Honeywell Smart Energy proposals and reports. + Build and maintain content libraries to support writing efforts. + Develop a strong understanding of Honeywell’s Smart Energy products and services. + Gather industry expertise to inform written work and assist with copy, editing, and document preparation. + Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative Services team to convey information visually through meaningful graphics.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, technical writing, journalism, or another writing-focused discipline. + Specific coursework, certifications, or relevant experience with technical writing. + Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in writing and editing technical and/or marketing documents. + Professional experience writing winning proposals, preferably contributing written content around Energy Efficiency, Distributed Energy Resources, and other technical Demand Side Management content for state, federal, or utility clients. + Copy-editing experience with familiarity in scientific and academic writing standards, such as tone, grammar, citations, and punctuation. + Detail-oriented with the ability to articulate technical information succinctly. + Proficient in use of digital collaboration tools, specifically Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams). Experience with SharePoint, or Salesforce, or specific proposal software tools (i.e. Responsive, Xait Porter, etc) is a plus. + Strong work ethic, time management, and communication skills. + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with remote colleagues. + Professional experience in energy efficiency and demand response is a plus.
