We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Technical Writer to join our team in Iselin, NJ. This hybrid role offers a flexible combination of on-site collaboration and remote work, providing an excellent opportunity to craft clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation supporting our technical products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, release notes, and operational procedures. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, developers, and support teams to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into accessible content. Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and usability. Ensure consistency in terminology, style, and formatting according to company standards. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end-users to enhance documentation effectiveness. Manage documentation projects using Content Management Systems (CMS) and version control tools. Support internal teams with technical writing best practices and training as needed. Participate in on-site meetings, product launches, and cross-functional collaborations at the Iselin office or remotely.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the technology, software, or healthcare sectors. Strong understanding of technical concepts, software development lifecycle, and APIs. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, MadCap Flare, or similar. Familiarity with Content Management Systems, version control (e.g., Git), and graphic editing tools is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Strong communication skills and adaptability to fast-changing technical environments.
