Endocrinologist 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Great Neck, NY 11023 Job Summary PRINE Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Endocrinologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders related to the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and hormonal imbalances. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, as well as the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to diagnose endocrine disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs. Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in neonatology, acute care, and hospice care. Stay updated on advancements in endocrinology through clinical research and continuous education. Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with medical coding standards. Participate in outpatient care settings, providing consultations and follow-up care. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records. Experience Board Certification in Endocrinology Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Endocrinology. Completion of residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology. Experience in clinical settings such as hospitals or home care environments is preferred. Familiarity with neonatal ventilators and mammography is a plus. Strong background in acute care management and hospice care will be advantageous. Proven ability to engage in clinical research related to endocrinology is desirable.
