Proposal Writer 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 135 West 26th Street, New York, NY 10001 OVERVIEW We are seeking a full-time Proposal Writer in our New York office. The person in this position will be a key member of the Business Development team and will report to the Proposal Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an experienced, savvy, strategic team member to play an active role in our proposal development efforts. It is envisioned that this role will be based in our New York office, but the individual will produce proposals to support business development in all Entro offices. The ideal candidate has a rich understanding of the design process, an appreciation of how to sell design and the ability to translate client-centric challenges into compelling proposals to win new work. In this role, the Proposal Writer will: Participate in the writing and assembly of proposals and proposal assets. Work with Partners and Business Development team to prepare responses to Requests for Qualifications/Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), which includes: Support proposal efforts to ensure delivery of quality proposal submissions on time. Review RFP/RFQ and client needs to determine appropriate deliverables/responding to deliverables requested. Assist with copywriting and editing of proposal content. Collect and integrate supporting materials. Prepare pricing/estimating and fee development in Excel. Layout and typesetting of proposal assets in InDesign. Work with Business Development and wider Entro team on Business Development. Data entry of proposal information into CRM (Deltek). Outreach and follow up with clients, sub-consultants, and proposal teams regarding ongoing and past submissions. Monitor procurement websites and sources for project opportunities. Review RFPs to assess for suitability. Enter and track opportunities in the company database (Deltek). Strategize approach and/or prepare interview presentations, where required. Assist in preparation and maintaining a database of project case studies; employee CVs; and other proposal assets (services and processes write-ups, organizational charts, infographics, etc.). Follow up on proposal submissions tracking win/loss results. Participate in post-mortems and/or proposal debriefs to learn how future submissions can be improved. Attend regularly scheduled proposal coordination meetings and bi-weekly sales meetings.

$65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
