Competitive PROSOFT is seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our team. This tech writer will be helping us create high quality training solutions for our customers. Your daily work will involve developing storyboards, writing and editing technical documents and procedures, and developing course curriculum for Air Traffic Control and various C4I systems.
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in Air Traffic Control Training/Curriculum Development to include: writing technical documentation, procedures and guidelines for C4I systems or equipment. Responsibilities Develop course curriculum for Air Traffic Control Collaborate with team members to identify training requirements Collaborate with team members to develop training tools Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts Required Qualifications Strong understanding of learning principles and learning theories Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven experience developing training solutions Conducting evaluations and assessments of curriculum effectiveness Ability to draft and update various technical documents and procedures Highly motivated, self-starter Nice to Have Skills Previous military instructor experience Previous experience with ATC, C4I or other technical career field Previous Navy/Marines/Army formal training development or instruction experience Knowledge and experience using AIM2 for Navy curriculum management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Psychology, or Curriculum Development Technical or Training background
