Job Description
Medical Records Legal Analyst Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Medical Records Legal Analyst to support litigation efforts through comprehensive client interviews and medical record review. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a keen eye for accuracy, strong writing skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and capable of working independently while maintaining a strong sense of collaboration and service. This role is fully remote. Candidates must reside in the following states: AZ, DC, FL, IL, KS, MO, NY, NC, OH, OR, TN, MD, NJ, SC, VA, and WA. Medical Records Legal Analyst Responsibilities Conduct structured phone interviews with clients and accurately document information into case-specific legal forms. Review and analyze a variety of medical records in alignment with litigation program protocols. Synthesize data from interviews and documentation to complete legally required forms with precision. Manage assigned caseloads from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. Meet quality and production standards for each project, while adapting to new assignments and cross-training as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet internal and client-driven deadlines. Participate in required training sessions for each assigned program. Medical Records Legal Analyst Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field. At least 1 year of experience reviewing medical records and/or working with legal documentation. Prior exposure to mass tort, personal injury, disability, or workers’ compensation cases is a plus. Experience in project management or a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment preferred. Excellent research and writing skills with a strong command of grammar and formatting. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information. Strong client communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to remain organized and adaptable in a dynamic work environment. Demonstrated problem-solving ability and the capability to make sound independent decisions.
