Develop and update training materials and content that make complex information accessible for learners at different skill levels, supporting effective learning and onboarding. Conduct thorough research by gathering information from subject matter experts (SMEs), manuals, and other reliable sources to fully understand manufacturing processes, products, and equipment. Format and design documents using templates and style guides to ensure consistency, readability, and visual appeal. Support cross-functional teams in design and implementation of the standardized work for all processes and roles Maintain and organize documentation libraries, manage version control, and archive outdated materials to ensure accessibility and compliance. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with engineers, trainers, production teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to gather technical information, review drafts, and incorporate feedback into documentation. Act as an intermediary between technical teams and end-users, translating complex technical concepts into accessible language. Participate in cross-functional meetings, including product development and project planning, to capture inputs, project deliverables, and specifications. Collaborate with graphic designers or other specialists to incorporate visual elements such as diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts into documentation. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Review and revise documents for clarity, consistency, completeness, grammar, style, and formatting, ensuring all content meets high standards and company requirements. Ensure documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality management systems (QMS). Support and document continuous improvement initiatives by recording process changes, best practices, and lessons learned. Participate in audits and regulatory reviews by providing accurate, up-to-date documentation and supporting evidence of compliance. Additional Responsibilities Develop best practice guides, safety protocols, and compliance documentation to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence. Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of documentation management processes, repositories, and standards. Be agile and adaptable, ready to reprioritize tasks and respond to changing project requirements in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Strong command of the English language, with exceptional grammar, attention to detail, and the ability to write clearly and concisely. Proficiency in document management and formatting tools (e.g., MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, content management systems). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguous or incomplete information and proactively seek solutions. Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to medical device manufacturing. Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communication, Engineering, or a related field is required At least 2-3 years of technical writing experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
