UPF Startup Technical Writer Position Available In Anderson, Tennessee

Seeking a Startup Technical Writer to support testing operations by developing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation in coordination with engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance on a DOE construction project.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor�s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or 7 years of related experience without a degree U.S. citizenship required Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check Eligibility to obtain site security badge

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of startup testing and commissioning processes Familiarity with DOE construction projects or nuclear power facility startup procedures Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and engineering design criteria Proficiency in technical writing and documentation control Strong computer and graphics software skills Ability to collaborate with engineers to preserve the technical integrity of documents

Job Responsibilities:

Take direction from the Startup Lead Technical Writer for assigned document preparation tasks Edit and format test packages and technical instructions to ensure clarity and compliance Collaborate with Test Engineers to ensure editorial changes do not alter testing intent Maintain document control standards and ensure alignment with project requirements Provide updates and documentation support to prevent testing activity delays Perform additional duties in support of project documentation and record management activities
