To create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for software products and processes. The Software Technical writer will work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content. The work will help end-users, developers, and internal teams understand and efficiently use our software solutions.
Requirements:
Skills 2+ years of experience in technical writing for software or SaaS products. Strong understanding of software development concepts, APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence or RoboHelp. Ability to work with engineering teams and interpret technical information. Strong command of English grammar, style, and clarity. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and knowledge bases. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in an agile environment. Experience writing developer-focused documentation is a plus. Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger, Postman, and such tools is a plus. Basic understanding of DevOps, cloud computing, or cybersecurity is a plus. Excellent written communication skills. Excellent verbal communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, online help, FAQs, and knowledge bases. Develop and maintain API documentation. Create and update internal documentation for engineering and support teams. Organize and structure documentation to improve usability and accessibility.
