Jr Video Editor Levity Live Huntsville, AL 35801 • Hybrid work Levity Live is currently seeking a skilled Jr. Video Editor to join our team. This person will be responsible for assisting with the curation and enhancement of stand-up content for the Improv/Levity Live brand’s social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Primary duties will include the creation of promotional video assets for upcoming acts and will be integral to your paid and organic social strategy. Background in comedy a huge plus! Responsibilities Assist in editing video content for the Improv brand channel, including supporting local venue promotions and events. Utilize editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve to trim footage and add captions effectively. Collaborate with the creative team to fully understand the project needs and enhance the creative process with innovative editing ideas. Efficiently organize and manage media files and maintain project archives. Ensure all finalized videos are formatted correctly for various platforms, meeting specific requirements. Stay current with the latest editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and ensure the production of high-quality work. Respond to and incorporate feedback from the production team, making necessary edits and adjustments to meet project specifications. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years in a marketing, social media, live events, or related entertainment industry role. Knowledge of video editing software applications and techniques is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management. Strong time management and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while remaining organized, efficient, and flexible. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Ability to work autonomously yet be an integral part of an overall team environment. This role will primarily be remote, but the candidate must be located in the Huntsville area, as travel to Huntsville Levity Live may be required from time to time.
